Make-A-Wish
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a charitable non-profit organization whose purpose is to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation was inspired in 1980 by the love that family and friends had for a seven-year-old boy named Chris, who had leukemia. Chris dreamed of becoming a police officer for a day, and with the help of his family and friends in the state highway patrol, they were able to help make his wish into a reality. Chris' mother and those who helped to grant his wish created Make-A-Wish Foundation in his memory, enabling his legacy to live on. Make-A-Wish Foundation is the largest wish granting organization in the world.

March of Dimes
President Franklin Roosevelt established the March of Dimes in 1938 to save America's youth from polio. His premise was that people can solve any problem if they work together. He created a partnership of volunteers and researchers, and within 17 years, the Salk vaccine had been developed and polio was on the run.
That dynamic partnership has endured and it's what makes the March of Dimes work. With the help and support of the American people, the March of Dimes has saved the lives of millions of babies over the past 69 years. And we won't stop until we reach the day when every baby is born healthy.
The March of Dimes mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality that is supported by thousands of volunteers and donors who are committed to helping us give every baby a healthy start.
